Voor het eerst hebben we Nederlandse middelbare scholieren met een passie voor machine learning bij elkaar gebracht om spannende vraagstukken aan te pakken! Je kunt hun werk hier bekijken.

What now?

De vier beste deelnemers zullen Nederland vertegenwoordigen op de Internationale Olympiade voor Kunstmatige Intelligentie (IOAI) in Astana in augustus. Om ervoor te zorgen dat ze klaar zijn om op internationaal niveau te presteren, zal er een speciaal trainingsprogramma worden opgezet.

The best four of our contestants will represent the Netherlands at the International Olympiad in Artificial Intelligence (IOAI) in Astana in August. To make sure they are prepared to compete at the international level, a dedicated training procedure will be put in place.

Voor de deelnemers staan er bij IOAI zware wedstrijddagen, spannende excursies en workshops op het programma, en de kans om voor het leven vrienden te maken met de allerbesten.

For the participants, IOAI will be tough competition days, exciting excursions and workshops, and making lifelong friends among the cream of the crop.

Voor de organisatoren biedt IOAI een uitstekende gelegenheid om ervaringen uit te wisselen en te pleiten voor een sterkere competitieve instelling en echte AI-vaardigheden onder Nederlandse scholieren.

For the organisers, IOAI will be an excellent opportunity to exchange experience and make the case for a stronger competitive spirit and true AI competence among Dutch school students.

Voorafgaand aan de Olympiade hebben we deelgenomen aan het Tenerife Summer Camp, georganiseerd door Harbour.Space, samen met IOAI-teams uit Spanje, Georgië, Oekraïne en Letland! Lees meer over hoe het is gegaan bij ons en bij de organisatoren.

NIO/AI biedt je de kans om andere AI-liefhebbers in Nederland te ontmoeten en je met hen te meten. Tijdens dit traject zul je je vaardigheden op het gebied van wiskunde, programmeren en machine learning naar een geheel nieuw niveau tillen!

NIO/AI is your opportunity to meet and compete with fellow AI enthusiasts in the Netherlands. On your way, you will bring your skills in mathematics, programming and Machine Learning on a whole new level!

We kijken ernaar uit om je volgend schooljaar te verwelkomen, of je nu klaar bent om de top van de wereld te bereiken, gewoon zin hebt in een extra uitdaging, of ergens daar tussenin zit! Blijf op de hoogte en bekijk de lijst met lesmateriaal die we voor je hebben samengesteld.

De mooiste beloning die we momenteel aan de vier beste deelnemers kunnen aanbieden, is het vertegenwoordigen van Nederland op de volgende Internationale Olympiade voor Kunstmatige Intelligentie (IOAI), die volgend jaar juli in Singapore plaatsvindt.

The best reward we can currently offer to the top four participants is representing the Netherlands at the next International Olympiad in Artificial Intelligence (IOAI), taking place in Singapore next July.
